About Emmdees

Emmdees Ltd started on the Pensnett trading estate in Kingswinford in 1990, where Mister Dave’s curries were being produced following the great success of Mister Dave’s Indian restaurants which had been running since 1984. Just over 10 years later the production moved over to the old Butchers and Bakers pie factory on Parkway Road in Dudley, and continues to be the home for Emmdees Ltd.

In December 2018, Emmdees was purchased by the founders and co-owners of The Original Curry Company Ltd, where the premises were given a major overhaul to bring the site up to standards expected by a wider audience such as major supermarkets, food service operators, restaurants, and pub chains.

On completion of the overhaul, we were awarded certification by BRC [The British Retail Consortium] and have continued this trend year after year, as well as acquiring site approval for Halal.

Over the last few years Emmdees has grown and developed a great reputation for quality and consistency among the sectors that we support.
